Southeastern Railway Museum-The site for this museum. Find out about there new home and there collection. A really great museum, with some really neat steam. Savannah’s Historic Shops-Has a lot of information about this museum, plus some pictures. Southeastern Railway Pages-Lots of links and some news.Here are some links to other sites that have information on preserved steam engines all over the country and Canada.
Railway Preservation News A great source of information on railway preservation and a message board. Steam Central- Contains news on happening in the steam preservation. Also a calendar on when and where these great engines are running. Steamlocomotive.com contains a lot of great pictures and more importantly a listing of where the preserved steam engines are. This list has helped me on many vacations find engines. Some of my photos are also on this site. Surviving Steam Locomotive Photo Archive- possibly the best collection of pictures of preserved steam engine around. Matt’s Steam locomotive pictures- lots of good steam pictures including a NYC 0-6-0 and a PRR 2-10-0. Railfan Message Board-A great source of information.
